Tribute To #8 (SOLD)
With each of my paintings You’ll get a piece of my emotions, a piece of my time, a piece of my world. I’ll give You a piece of myself.
This is very large commissioned painting I did for abstract art lover from Texas, USA. Due to it’s size, many layers and a lot of paint used, it took about a month to finish it. Painting is hand stretched on strong A class wooden stretcherbars and is ready to hang. It is not a secret that inspiration for this particular piece comes from a famuous painting titled #8 by american painter Jackson Pollock. He was a legend. And legends never die. Never.
My intention was not to copy the painting, but I wanted to catch the same color tones the Master used and to get similar dimension to the piece. This one is larger than original though.
